Very important is a road loss ofLeonas (1-1) against Gigantes (2-1) on Friday night. Visiting Leonas were defeated by Gigantes in Carolina 65-55 . Americans were the main players on the court. The best player for the winners was forward Teana Muldrow (188-1995, college: WVU) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds. Guard Selena Lott (180-1999, college: Marquette) chipped in 20 points and 5 rebounds. Four Gigantes players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Talia von Oelhoffen (180-2002, college: USC, agency: Next Page Sports) who recorded 20 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals and swingman Taya Corosdale (190-1999, college: Duke) added 13 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Leonas' coach M Toro tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
